Happy Birthday…
19 December , 2012…my little sweet potato.
It’s been a big year for us, but I’m starting to think that no year will ever be a little one around you! 
It’s been our best health year so far, even with that blood business in the middle of the year. You can now talk the ear off a teacup in two languages fluently – although you prefer English at the moment for some reason.
I am so proud of you I could burst. You are a sweet, clever, stubborn, beautiful little person and it’s an honour to be your mother. Every day I am amazed by the little person that you are, and that you are becoming.
I don’t care that you some days insist on going to school in pajamas, that you love pink, or that you insist on a staple diet of cherry tomatoes and creme soda. You’re a-okay in my book and I will always be your biggest champion.

I love your tradition of the pic per month. How long did it take you to find them, or do you do on a monthly basis?
I have these grand ideas to do this for the kids since birth but I’m afraid I may stab myself before I’m done.

I keep all my photos in monthly album folders so I set it to show big thumnail images and quickly scan through to see which is my favourite for that month. It takes me about half an hour to zip through quickly and pic my favourites.
What I really like is the looking back part, also at the previous years – it really reminds me of some of the adventures and challenges we’ve had. 😀
