Seen arounds

23 April , 2018

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while. It’s different because I hardly spend any time in traffic these days, so I don’t see as much mind boggling things as I used to.

But here you go nonetheless – some interesting (to me) things I’ve come across lately.

Nicola, in a foul mood. This face is what I refer to as the grumble-bum pose. I think perhaps it was because of the time of day. My kid is definitely NOT a morning person, hahaha!

We had a lovely catch up visit with Denise and family over the weekend. Denise is a tattoo artist, and has quite a few herself.

This one really caught my eye. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one quite like it. What do you think?

Can you believe the little dude is 3 already?! Such a cute age – he has us in stitches often. And in personality he is almost a carbon copy of my brother!

School cupcakes for cuzzy-wuzz for his birthday. At the moment he’s all about either super heroes or dragons and dinosaurs. In fact, I managed to convince him to eat something he’d been staring down for a while the other day by telling him he couldn’t eat it, it was only for long neck dinosaurs!

Have you ever been to the Party Spot at Northgate? Don’t go…seriously. It’s like the Westpak of party supplies. You will find all the things you didn’t even know you needed there. Nicola loves to try out everything!

If you go, don’t take a credit card! 😆

  1. You’re right – I can’t believe he’s 3!!!! Your mom outdid herself with the cake as usual and best of all, I know those cupcakes tasted delicious!

    • He wanted chocolate, so not THOSE orange ones this round 😉

  2. He is three already!!! Wow.. feels like he was born just the other day!!!

Your mom made the cakes.. wow super impressive

    • This is how I felt as well when I saw on IG Miss K started big school?! Just the other day she was here chewing everything and learning how to crawl.

      They grow up so quickly…

My mom is a champ with the cakes, I am always in awe of what she can make sugar do.

Say something...come on! You know you want to?
