Birthday Adventure – Sci Bono

21 December , 2014

Every year on her birthday, Nicola and I have a little adventure.

This year, I thought she might enjoy it more with a friend along, so we included her best bud from school, L.

Birthday girl started the day out a bit on the camera shy side…

But you know me. Relentless when I want a photo.๐Ÿ˜‰

You have no idea how long we battled to get both faces in one photo!

I think most of the 2nd and 3rd floor was a bit above them…but they had a grand time running around like lunatics trying to figure it out anyway.

The Murray & Roberts build spot was a big hit with the ladies…

image

And so was the lego pit…

image

And the three stray dinosaurs.

image

And this thingamabob too…

There were a few tears along the way too when they experienced artistic differences. One wanted to build a house, the other wanted to run through that house’s walls.๐Ÿ˜‰

This ride was a very big hit too!

As soon as we hit the car, they couldn’t wait to ditch their shoes and relax.

What better way could there be to end off a day of science than a nice refreshing swim?

A great birthday adventure was had by all…and the girls really kept each other busy…but I missed our alone time a bit. I’m not used to sharing her on her big day.

  4. Yay the building site is back!

    • Are you talking about the foam rubber bricks and things? That was a major attraction for these two young ladies.

      • Yes! We took a couple of our nephews and they loved it, and when we went back it was gone – for repairs or cleaning or something.

Say something...come on! You know you want to?
