End of a chapter, and beginning of a season12 December , 2014
Today was Nicola’s last day of Nursery School. Wow…can you believe it?! No teary goodbyes from her, thankfully…I don’t think she fully understands how much life is about to change for us.
And at her age, I think that’s exactly the way it should be.
We got a letter from next year’s primary school. They don’t make you wait till you get there to know where you’ll end up. How nice is that, right. We already know which class will be hers and who will be her teacher. She is extremely excited about all the new friends that she will meet next year. And the class colour is one of her favourites, so she’s convinced that’s why they’ve allocated her to that class. 😉
We crossed pathes with this giant sucker on a recent party sweet sourcing trip.
Uhm…a new favourite quirk of Nicola’s. We must pose with all manequins. And I must take of photo of it for her.
My beautiful daughter.
Big squish from Teacher L. This sweet woman has been Nicola’s teacher for the better part of three years. I couldn’t have asked for a more nurturing teacher.
Ouma and Oupa’s tree also finally up!
Tree decorating is hard work!
We did a quick Wimpy lunch today after her last day of school as a special treat.
And we had our first night this season of Christmas light hunting. This particular house is still the most spectacular that we’ve seen around these parts and draws massive crowds.
Nicola was so excited she almost lifted off! 🙂
