Look at how seriously we take bread chopping. πŸ˜‰

These birds are probably better off staying put in winter, we were definitely not the only ones there feeding them!

Imposters! These do not quack like ducks at all.

A really nice way to get outside and soak up some sun during winter.

Oupa helping out. Hahaha, I remember the first time we went there I had to keep a firm hand on Nicola’s clothing to keep her from following the ducks into the water.

It is never too cold for ice cream, right? πŸ˜‰

Chilling on a bench with Ouma.

You saw it here first…duck feather’s make great hair accessories, apparently. πŸ˜‰

  1. It is never too cold for Ice-cream.. man I’d even have it at the south pole… must be the child in me…

    • Nothing wrong with that. πŸ™‚

  2. We were there just the previous weekend! It is still a lovely place to go outdoors!

    • We love going there! But we usually wait until we have a bit of a bread crust stockpile built up before we go.

  3. Love the pics! And the strange thing is today I chatted with someone and told him I actually only crave ice-cream in winter. Still not regularly but when I crave it, you can be sure it’s winter πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    • Mmm, that is strange – I wonder why you don’t crave it in summer too? What do you crave in summer?

  4. Love the one where she is helping Oupa feeding the ducks πŸ™‚

    • I like that one too! πŸ™‚

  5. Love the serious face!!!!

My hubby and Sis also agree that ice-cream is best eaten in winter and even better if in front of the heater πŸ˜†

    • Hahaha, I enjoy it any time of the year – but I probably enjoy it most during summer. πŸ˜‰

  6. No it is never too cold for ice cream. Doves are such opportunists. Looks like your dad never gets cold. Nicola is such a pretty little thing.

    • Mwahaha! My dad really never gets cold – so true. πŸ˜‰
      Thank you!

Say something...come on! You know you want to?
