Ponder this…

15 April , 2010

Want: verb (not usually used in the progressive tenses) To have a desire for something.

Need: verb. To require something or somebody because they are essential or very important, not just because you would like to have them.

* The tricky bit is to figure out which is which…make of that what you will (this may have nothing to do with what you’re thinking about by the way!).

  1. I NEED to win the LOTTO and I WANT to give you half the winnings! 😀

  2. This photo takes me back…

“Like a bird on a wire, Like a drunk in a midnight choir… I have tried in my way to be free…”

Good food for thought actually x

  3. Good song, Girl van die Suburbs.

So, Louisa. What is it that you want, but don’t need?

  4. Stunning pic to show the point – one which I also have to keep in mind, mind you!

  5. Freddy, I’m buying a ticket TODAY! 😀

Girl vd Suburbs, love that… 🙂

Tamara, oooh so many things my friend. 😉 Also quite a few that are covered by non disclosure agreements unfortunately.

cat, this is something I have to remind myself of every now and then. It can get confusing when you don’t.

  6. I don’t need a lot of things… I want a lot of things, and sometimes it feels like I need the things I want… but I really don’t need much.

  7. Uh-huh, that’s what I need to remind myself about every now and then.

Say something...come on! You know you want to?
