Poem Day : Push & Pull

30 May , 2009

Mood-swings…gotta love em? ;-)

  1. Mood swings? Maybe. Understandeable? Completely. Gggrrrrrrr…

  2. I was in two minds (as I am now generally) about posting these.

  3. I like your two poems, but I am sad that you are dealing with this pregnancy on your own, that the Daddy is not supporting you. At least you have his parents in your corner, hopefully, he just needs some time to get over the shock and will come around soon. Thinking of you!

  4. Thanks Michelle, I hope so too…we’ll see how it goes at the first scan. It’s a make or break moment I think.

  5. Aw, beautifully written hun. It’s not fair that you should have the added stress of boy problems during this time – hope that dude catches a wake up soon!

  6. Thanks Rox, glad you liked it. 🙂 Yeah, I hope he gets his act together (for his own sake if no one else’s).

  7. awwww…these are sweet and sad in equal measure.

  8. I thought at least one of them was just plain aggressive? 😉

  9. “Puff” is nice. Push is good but not nice. When the heck did you get pregnant? Your life is a whirlwind. I can’t keep up! Congrats!

  10. Jon, 😆 I agree “Push” is not very nice, and “Pull” is more sad than angry I guess – when I wrote this I was mighty upset. It helps to get it out on paper. Thanks for the congratulations! I found out early May that I was going to be someone’s mom. First I was a bit hysterical for a few days and then I settled down into excited – I really didn’t think I was ever going to get to do this, so it’s a bit of a miracle for me. Not the best time probably, but I have loads of support from all over, and besides I think if you wait for the right time you’ll never get there? 🙂

  11. i like push and pull they r nice to read and helps you know thtt ur not the only one going thorught thtt kind of shit im only 16 and i like this poem

    • Thank you very much! Are you going through this now?

Say something...come on! You know you want to?
